Opera House which has hosted performers such as
George M. Cohan, Isadora Duncan, Billy Joel, Jay Leno,
Bruce Springsteen and Dave Matthews.
The
Finger Lakes consists of four major Finger Lakes; west to
east they are Canandaigua, Keuka, Seneca & Cayuga with
Seneca Lake being the largest. The lakes were carved over
10,000 years ago by glaciers leaving behind a host for culture,
landmarks and natures outdoor entertainment. New York’s
Finger Lakes are located 1 ½ hours East of Niagara
Falls, 5 hours North West of New York City and 1 hour from
each of the City
of Rochester and of the City
of Syracuse.
Rolling
fields of viticulture decorate the acres of land surrounding
the Finger Lakes. The area has become known for its suitable
viniferous growing climate, influenced by the large volume
of water in the lakes. Enjoy touring over 80 award winning
wineries throughout the region, with more than 26 of them
located around Seneca Lake. |
